Payment Details
Patients can make their payments at the Cashier’s Office using cash or the POS (card payment) machine. The process is as follows:
Step 1
Walk-in, non-registered patients must first go to the Cashier’s Office to pay the consultation fee.
- General Practitioner (GP): ZMW 350 for the initial visit
- Follow-up visit: ZMW 300
- Fees for specialist consultations may vary.
Step 2
After payment is made, the cashier will:
- Issue a receipt
- Generate a unique NRP number for the patient
Step 3
The patient is then directed to the Billing Office, where the Billing Officer will:
- Record the patient’s details (full name, NRC/passport number, and address) in the Proclin system.
Step 4
The Records Clerk will prepare the patient’s file and hand it over to the doctor for consultation.
Electronic Payments
Patients who choose to pay electronically should submit proof of payment to the Accountant or Cashier. Once confirmed, an official receipt will be generated.
